probably Geneva, ca. 1810/201,5 x 9,3 x 6,3 cm
Rectangular 18kt yellow gold body (tested) with rounded corners and flat hinged lid. Blue translucient enamel on a guilloché ground, engraved leaf decoration, relief leaf garland, white and black opaque enamel. On the lid a finely painted Mythological scene depicting Orpheus and Eurydice, the serpent, Hades and Persephone, and the hellhound Kerberos. Master's mark "G.R.I.C" in diamond. Weight ca. 148g.
